an assignment for typography class. we're supposed to make a poster advertising a typeface, and i chose eurostile because it's awesome.
initially i had the whole thing flipped on the vertical axis, with the baselines aligned with the edges of the page. i had to change it for the sake of legibility, though, since the entire top line of text was upside down.
if you notice the copy seems a bit contrived, that's because one of the criteria for the assignment was that it has to include every letter of the alphabet. rather than just write out the alphabet, i decided to make it interesting and write a pangram. writing pangrams is hard, especially when you have to write one that makes sense and pertains to a certain subject. so pardon the somewhat inappropriate uses of the words "jubilant" and "exquisite," i was really stuck on j and q.
this isn't the final copy, since the poster needs to be hand-rendered; i still have to print it out and trace it and color it with marker. that's going to be such a drag. sigh.
anyway, i still hope to improve this before the final copy, if i can. so please critique to your heart's content. i don't want any of that "it looks nice" business.

EDIT: thanks to some very helpful feedback from ~Cedarseed, i've improved on the original design and updated it. i'm still open to more suggestions, though.
